COVER LINES
Insured interests and separate services
Hull war risk insurance
Enquiries for specified war-related physical loss or damage to a vessel. Covered perils, limits and exclusions are defined by the agreed policy wording.
Cargo war risk insurance
Enquiries for specified war-related loss or damage to cargo during maritime transit, subject to the insured interest and agreed policy terms.
Maritime terrorism coverage
Terrorism and politically motivated acts require express inclusion in the applicable policy. Ask underwriting to confirm the definitions, exclusions, geographic scope and limits.
War-related loss of hire
Loss-of-hire requirements need separate underwriting agreement and are not automatically included in hull or cargo cover.
High-risk passage coordination
Enquiries for voyage planning, documentation and operational liaison, subject to agreed service scope and permissions. Passage coordination is separate from insurance and does not guarantee safety.
HOW A SUBMISSION MOVES
From quote request to confirmed terms
Submit the voyage, insured values and contact details for review. Underwriting may request further information, propose terms or decline the risk. Review the insurer, wording, premium, conditions and effective dates before accepting a quotation. Acceptance of proposed terms alone is not evidence of cover; the applicable binding requirements and confirmation must be completed.
